Wednesday Morning Paddle - Turkey Creek
Beautiful creek paddle up Turkey Creek (upper end of Buckhorn Reservoir)

Paddles Wet at 10am,  PFD and whistle required.  Water recommended.

Dress for air temperature and water temp (lake is 70  F), you may get wet if we maneuver over and around things in the creek.

Bring some lunch - we can stop along the creek paddle and stretch our legs.

Directions:
In google maps type in:  new Sandy Hill Church Road, Wade Thompson Road

From Raleigh, Head east on 264 toward Middlesex, exit alt 264/ Stokes Rd, turn Right on SR 231 heading South, turn left on Bissette Road, turn left on New Sandy Hill Church rd, then right turn on Wade Thompson Rd, 1221 or called Bunn rd.

Dont be confused by Bunn rd on East shore of Buckhorn, this does not connect.

Launch is pretty rural, no facilities.  Unload boat near lake and then park in lot above launch area.
