Sunday Morning Paddle - Turkey Creek
Beautiful creek paddle up Turkey Creek (upper end of Buckhorn Reservoir)

You will see large boulders and even a water fall on this paddle
Dress for cold water is a must for this trip, you may have to get wet when we maneuver over and around things in the creek.

Bring some lunch as we will stop along the way to stretch your legs and eat.

Directions:
In google maps type in:  new Sandy Hill Church Road, Wade Thompson Road

From Raleigh, Head east on 264 toward Middlesex, exit alt 264/ Stokes Rd, turn Right on SR 231 heading South, turn left on Bissette Road, turn left on New Sandy Hill Church rd, then right turn on Wade Thompson Rd, 1221 or called Bunn rd.

Dont be confused by Bunn rd on East shore of Buckhorn, this does not connect.

Launch is pretty rural, no facilities.  Unload boat near lake and then park in lot above launch area.
