Some of you may remember two to three years ago when one of our members, Jane Hoppin, ScD, Associate Professor of Biological Sciences did a program for CKC on GenX which is in the PFOA, PFOS, and other PFAs family of chemicals (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) found in and along the Cape Fear River.
This upcoming Cape Fear River Watch First Saturday Seminar will provide and An Update on All Things PFAS. Their seminars used to be held in person in Wilmington at their offices. Lucky for us they are doing them by Zoom now.
Join Cape Fear River Watch and Special Guests on May 1 from 9-11 AM via Zoom for: PFAS PFAS PFAS! They will be presenting an update on all things PFAS, including its impacts on community and the actions being taken to clean it up and hold polluters accountable.
